Bluetooth® Mesh Training
Get your team productive with Bluetooth® Mesh.
When we started in 2022 to get our hands dirty as app developers for Bluetooth® Mesh systems, it took us several person months to reach the point where we could confidently commission a very small network of around 3 nodes using a bit of publish/subscribe to send and receive messages.
We thought it would be like with any other library/SDK. You download it, install it, go through a couple of samples and after a couple of days you’re ready to go.
We couldn’t have been more wrong. First SDK closed-source, a PDF documentation that adds one sentence to each public function. No example code. No community.
Second SDK: Open-Source but basically no documentation. Instead an “example” app that contains everything and buries it below 3 layers of view models, repositories, etc. so that it takes hours to find out which functions are actually called when, why and in which order.
Third SDK: Unmaintained.
Hardware/Firmware was flaky but we did not know because - how should we. As usual, we assumed the issue was in our code.
Long story short: We have been through the pain. A lot of it and it did cost real $$$. We want to spare you that time and money by bringing you up to speed fast and without frustration.
Fun fact: Three years in and we’re still learning…

The training is primarily for developers of higher level software. E.g. app developers or gateway developers. System engineers, architects, product managers and technical team leads can also benefit from introductory courses and real-world experiences.
